This page details the current terms and conditions for Jaclyn Judy Photography. When you are ready to book a date for your session, you will receive an email of this contract for you to add a digital signature.
The Photographer retains the copyright to all the photographs taken and allows the Client unlimited, but non-exclusive, rights to use and print photographs. All photos are examples of our work and our passion, we use our best judgment in giving you the best work we have to offer. The total number of images will depend on the results of the session. Sessions include photographing your shoot and editing of your gallery images. Session fees are to be paid in full by the start of the scheduled session via our booking site. To hold your session date, a $50 deposit is required along with the signed agreement. This fee is non-refundable.
This contract has been freely negotiated and shall be recognized as the entirety of the agreement between Jaclyn Judy Photography and the Client. It supersedes all prior and simultaneous agreements between the parties. Only those changes or modifications specifically placed in writing, attached, dated, and signed by the Client and Jaclyn Judy Photography at the time of acceptance of this contract shall be recognized as amendments to this contract. Sessions/ Events include photographing your shoot and editing of your gallery images. The balance is to be paid in full by the day before the scheduled event/session.
You grant the photographer full creative licence to shoot, select images, edit images and deliver them in the style and method chosen by the photographer and reflective of the style and quality advertised by the photographer.
I will make every effort to comply with requests for specific photos. Please ensure these are notified to me in advance of the shoot. Requests that are felt to be unsafe will be refused. It may not be possible for all of the images requested, or those expected, to be captured.
All images will be adjusted for skin blemishes, exposure, brightness, contrast, sharpness, etc. The Photographer's judgement regarding these corrections and the number of images put forward to the Client for preview shall be deemed correct. Retouching, digital manipulation and artist finishing is available to the Client as an option at extra cost
All information and discussions between the client and Creative Events Photography are considered confidential and will not be disclosed to any third party.
Upon the Client's signature, Jaclyn Judy Photography will reserve the time and date agreed upon, and will not make other reservations for that time and date. Because Jaclyn Judy Photography may forgo opportunities to book other business on the Wedding/Event Date, the retainer amount stated above is non-refundable for any reason. The Client understands and agrees that the entire amount owed for the photography package described in the contract is due prior to delivery of the final images.
The parties agree to positive cooperation and communication for the best possible result within the definition of this assignment. Jaclyn Judy Photography is not responsible for key individuals’ failure to be present or willing to cooperate during photography sessions, neither for missed images due to details not revealed to Jaclyn Judy Photography. The Client shall be responsible for the behaviour of any persons accompanying them to an assignment. The Photographer reserves the right to terminate any assignment without notice if he deems the Client’s behaviour to be unruly or unsafe. In such instances, the Photographer reserves the right to charge his full fees and expenses as described above of these fully reimburse the Photographer for any loss/damage they cause to property or equipment.
The Client agrees to be no more than 30 minutes late to the appointed event/session. In the case the Client does not arrive on time Client will forfeit the deposit. In the event that the Client cancels the event, the deposit would be non-refundable. In the unlikely event that Jaclyn Judy Photography is unable to provide the services described in this Agreement on the Wedding/Event Date for any reason including, but not limited to, illness, injury, emergency, or act of God, sudden event, or other circumstances beyond the control of, the deposit will be fully refunded to Client.
The client will obtain all permissions necessary for Photographer to photograph at the engagement. Photographer has no duty to obtain the permission of any location to operate thereon. The client understands and agrees that any failure to obtain these permissions resulting in fines to the photographer, or which prevent the photographer from photographing the event(s) is not the fault, liability, or responsibility of the photographer. The Client agrees to reimburse the Photographer for any travel greater than 20 miles from zip code 06401. In fairness to all clients, pricing and session fees are non-negotiable. Once the event/session has been completed, all sales are final.
